Interactive fiction: At the Midland (MI) Daily News we tried this as an experiment. Questions were posed both in print and online, and voting took place online. In the interest of posing options that would appeal to a wide range, I left myself open to the story turning romantic, which is not something I ever wanted but I dutifully followed the voted path.
